The Cyprus property sector demonstrated resilient momentum in May 2026. Official figures released by the Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS) show that 1,418 sale contracts were registered across Cyprus during May—a 9.8% year-over-year increase compared to May 2025.

This strong monthly performance pushed cumulative transactions for the first five months of the year (January–May 2026) to 8,496 contracts, marking a 15.1% increase over the corresponding period in 2025.
